For over twenty years more than 150,000 college students have made the choice to spend their Fall or Spring breaks building homes through Habitat for Humanity’s Collegiate Challenge program. During their week with a local affiliate, students have the chance to experience hands on volunteer work, learning construction skills, connecting with new people, and making an impact on a local community and family in need.
This year marks Habitat Birmingham’s 10th year hosting Collegiate Challenge! We are excited to welcome 4 groups this Fall – Ohio State University, Emory University, Villanova University, and Florida State University! In addition, we’ll be hosting over 450 students in the Spring. We’re so thankful for their participation in helping fulfill our mission in Birmingham.
